Sarouk
Sarouk Persian Rugs are handwoven in the Markazi Province of Iran.
Up until the turn of the century, Sarouk rugs were available in designs similar to those of more traditional Persian rugs like Kashan and Isfahan. The bold, flower bouquet designs of the more recent Sarouk weaves are influenced by western tastes and have grown to be popular.
Our collection of modern Sarouk Persian Rugs is intricately woven using soft wool with a robust and thick cotton foundation. The piles are soft to touch and have a distinctive lustre.
