- Handknotted by the Qashqais of the Fars province located in southwest Iran.
- The colours have mellowed beautifully with age. The rug we estimate is at least 70 years old
- The rug is in very good condition. The pile is uniformly worn. It has many years of life left.
- A pure wool pile on a wool foundation.
- A simple geometrical geometric design, would suit any setting.
