Handwoven in the 70s in the traditional weaving town of Heriz in northern Iran.
Soft, dense and full pure wool pile.
Natural dyes have been used giving the wool has a lovely lustre.
Earthy colour palette of a brick red field with attractive coral and sage and sky blue highlights.
An extremely dense and heavy weave. Ideal for a commercial setting. The rug is in perfect condition and will last for decades.
The rug has a dramatic intricate bold medallion in the centre and a lovely complementary border.
