Beljick

Hand knotted in Afghanistan for generations, Beljik rugs are high quality and extremely fine pieces of artistry. Beljik rugs glisten at any angle and the rich colour combinations of reds and deep indigos are truly remarkable. There is a dramatic shift in colour depending on the angle from which a Beljick rug is viewed. 

An excellent example of top end tribal weaving, this particular piece features the classic, 'Broken Branch' design. It has been intricately woven using a hi-quality and soft NZ wool on strong cotton foundation.
